The Friends of the Park of LeDroit supports the Park at LeDroit in the following ways: facilitating positive community involvement in the Park through events and gatherings; helping to address maintenance and repair issues within the Park through volunteer activities and working with the DC Department of Park and Recreation and the DC Department of General Services; advocating for additional capital project improvements in the Park such as the upcoming field remediation through official testimony and meeting with DC Government decision-makers; advocating for more programming in the Park to help all community members develop a positive relationship with the Park.
